Presenter Bio:

Robbie has 20 years of experience working in the concrete reinforcing steel industry. The first 17 years of his career were spent working for reinforcing bar fabricators where he began as a rebar detailer and advanced through roles in training, supervision and management. His most recent position was Regional Engineering Manager where he was responsible for development
and oversight of all detailing operations for a large rebar fabricator in the Southeast. Robbie joined HRC in January 2018 and his role with HRC is primarily technical in nature – serving the company at the industry level with involvement in ACI, ASTM, and CRSI, working with engineers and contractors on ACI Code compliance and practical applications of HRC products, providing presentations on products and their applications, technical writing, responding to technical inquiries, and managing an HRC manufacturing and production facility in Georgia.
Robbie is an active member of both CRSI and ACI and has been for more than a decade. He is a member of all CRSI technical committees and is currently the Chairman of the CRSI Detailing Committee, Vice Chairman of the CRSI Manual of Standard Practice Committee, Vice Chairman of the Reinforcement Anchorages and Splices Committee and Vice Chairman of the Engineering Practice Committee. He is also an active member of several ACI committees including 117 (Tolerances), 131 (BIM), 315 (Detailing), 408 (Bond and Development of Steel Reinforcement) and 408A (Mechanical Reinforcing Bar Anchorages and Splices).
