All HANDS-ON deck, ANCHORS aweigh!

Presenters: Kevin Davenport, S.E., P.E. and various Simpson Strong-Tie staff members

Calling all structural engineers who would like the opportunity to get some “hands-on” experience with post-installed anchor products. This will be an informal meeting where attendees can discuss the features/benefits of various post-installed anchor types. In addition, proper installation instructions will be discussed as anchors are being installed. The meeting will conclude with some destructive testing of the installed anchors in order to demonstrate various anchor failure modes.

Post-Installed anchor types installed/tested at this meeting:

• Adhesive anchors
• Expansion type anchors
• Screw type anchors
• Helical tie type anchors
