Thomas A Fanning Student Athlete Performance Center at Georgia Tech

The 100,000-square-foot facility will serve as a state-of-the-art hub for GT student-athletes. Designed by Walter P Moore and constructed by DPR Construction, the design and development of the Fanning Center highlights GT’s commitment to sustainability. In addition to energy-reducing strategies, steel from a portion of Bobby Dodd Stadium’s upper deck was repurposed into the new structure. Cross-laminated timber will be featured throughout the facility, adding warm accents and reducing the carbon footprint.

Personal Protection Equipment

All guests MUST bring their own PPE (hardhat, vest, safety glasses, work boots, and long pants) in order to participate in the tour.

Parking Information

Guest parking is available in the Area 1 Visitor lot which is located at 176 North Avenue Northwest, Atlanta, GA, 30332.  Please note the NW or Northwest is extremely important when entering the address into GPS.   From the top of the parking deck, use the Sky Bridge to cross over the pedestrian bridge to the Student Success Center.
